Lee was born and raised in Danville, VA and is a graduate of George Washington High School. He got his start in the Information Technology world with Danville Public Schools, where he worked as an IT Technician for four years prior to coming to Pittsylvania County Schools, where he serves as the Digital Communications Specialist and Webmaster for the district. Lee has a love for telling stories through multimedia, especially videos. He won a Telly Award in 2022 in the Non-Broadcast: General-Miscellaneous category for co-producing a campaign video. He also toured nationally for a dance competition company as a videographer in 2018 and he serves as a stage lighting designer for local dance studios. He most recently was the Lighting Designer for Brittany Cody Dance Company.
